Your Club is always willing to help other Community Organisations and Clubs when we can.  You will be pleased to know that we have just assisted the Short Mat Bowles Club in the purchase of a much needed new mat and also made a donation towards the installation of a new Sound System at our Parish Church.  We will shortly be posting a list of the donations we have made over the last couple of years on our notice board. (We are proud of how 'benevolent' we are!!)

Some of our long established in Horsmonden members will remember with fondness David Morgan.  A 'live wire' and Choirmaster in our community in the 60/70s.  Sadly David passed away in Denver, Colorado this week – he and his wife Sally lived in the USA for many years. Those who would like more details should contact Kell (01892 722162). We understand a Memorial Service will be held at St Margaret's , provisional date 22nd May.

The next Men's Breakfast will be held at our Club on Saturday 28th April.  If you are not on the invitation list and want to come mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Anyone have new neighbours?  If you have remember to get them a Welcome Pack from Patrick.  Taking one to them is an easy way of introducing yourself and a good thing to do.  They are prepared by ReadyCall.

Much talk of plastic/ recycling etc.  Please note the posters and leaflets produced by Angie (Club member).  How quick can we get Horsmonden 'Green'?   We can all take our part.  Your Club has now arranged for our rubbish to be collected by a company who sort through it and fish out all recyclable items!  Sure we will do a lot more in the times ahead.

The next FILM SHOW will be on Thursday 19th April.  By popular request it will be a musical with great songs and wonderful dancing.  It is the old classic Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.   Be great to see it again and hear the dulcet tones of Howard Keele and others.

Both our village WI's  meet this week.  The tWIliters on Wednesday (11th) evening (8pm) and the Morning WI Thursday (12th at 10.30am)
Two good subjects –' Life Inside' a life spent at Her majesty's Pleasure for the tWIlite and 'Edith Cavell'- the nursing pioneer of WW1 fame for the Morning Group.

Tomorrow night the Treasure Chest is there to be won.  Already the prize has increased to just under £200  and 10 keys left.  Roger and Kell your bar hosts to start followed by Chris and Claire.   How good it that!!!
We will be pleased to see you then if not Saturday evening or Sunday lunchtime.
