Remember – coming up – is our famous Beer Festival and Family BBQ.

Inside and outside your Club and spilling out onto the Green.  What an occasion this has been in the past and this year we aim for it to be even better.  Plenty of beer , of course, and a huge BBQ.  All at reasonable prices with families and friends relaxing and making their own fun.  To help them we welcome the return of Duck Soup to provide great music and encourage the partying.  Saturday 21st July is the date.  Start time probably 3.30pm.   Certainly nothing better for you to do than come along!

Tomorrow night (23rd) is a fundraising Quiz Night organised by Sulwen in aid of some of our 'World Jamboree' scouts.  Please to say it is a sell out but maybe a few places on the night. Come along anyway.  Club will still be open to members in the back bar.  Wish all luck for a good evening and plenty of fundraising for these young people.

Tonight Jan and Chris in full control of our bar to start with Nick and David to follow later.  Treasure Chest will be in operation. £97 in the 'chest' at present with 11 keys to choose from.

Can you spare a couple of hours a month? -Maybe.  What if it was to be in a bar? Sounds too good to be true perhaps.  Sort of- because it is behind the bar rather than in front of it!

We always welcome new volunteers to serve drinks and serve your Club – so how about it?  There is a bit of training and working with others before you 'fly solo'- then off you go!  Wonderful addition to your CV.

Speak to Paul F or Lindsey or any of your committee.

The next Nostalgia Day is on Friday 6th July – two weeks today. This is at our Club and everyone is welcome to attend. Starts at 2pm through to 5pm.  Simply loads of memorabilia of to interest you and you are asked to bring your own!

Men's Breakfast tomorrow morning (8.30) Not quite a full house and Anthony always makes sure there is enough for a surprise late entry.  Come and enjoy it!

Or how about the Church Coffee Morning on Tuesday from 10 am. If you prefer tea it is also served and both with biscuits and a load of lively chatter.

Use your Club it is there for you!
