Tomorrow (Friday 15th) is Nostalgia Day at your Club. Get down or up there fast any time between 2pm and 5ish.  Focusing on businesses past and present in our village.   There will be loads of interesting things for you to see, plenty of folk with who to reminisce or listen to over a cup of tea . These really are quality events to suit all .

Now to 6 Nations Rugby! The climax of the competition takes place on Saturday after noon. First match (Italy v France) kicks off at 12.30 followed by Wales v Ireland at 2.45pm and England v Scotland at 5pm.  All great matches and even better on our HUGE screen.  Our bar is well stocked and open from mid day and we expect a big crowd and great atmosphere.  Not to be missed!!!!

FILM SHOW this Thursday (21st – first day of Spring) is a well loved Clint Eastwood special KELLY's HEROES. Described as 'Relentlessly enjoyable' This is part War Film, part Comedy, part Bank Robbery and also stars Telly Savalas.  Great watching – so roll up any time after 7pm , grab a drink and seat. Sit back relax and enjoy yourself. Lights dim at 7.30pm home and happy by 10.15.

Many of our members enjoyed the Charity Musical Event last Friday.  We were promised great entertainment and the two acts certainly ' brought to house down'.  Objectives reached – everybody having a great time whilst raising funds for Charity.  Re the latter we amassed £1357 which has been divided and sent to Demelza House and Cherished Memories.  Our gratitude to all for your generosity.

Kindergarten Coffee Morning at your Club on Wednesday 20th March. Always good occasions, coffee, cakes, company and all sorts. 10Am-noon.

Congratulations to our village Football Club - sponsored by your Club. They have reached their first Cup final and also still in contention for league promotion.  Make a note - the FINAL will be at Rusthall Stadium on Friday 12th April v Pembury.  Would be good to see plenty of support for our boys!  Get the open top bus ready!

Remember tickets for our Day at the Races (11th May), Nostalgia Quiz Night (6th April),  St Georges Dinner (27th April) are for sale from the bar.  St Georges tickets are nearly all sold – so be quick if you want to go.

Men's Breakfast coming upon Saturday 30th March.  Tim Coyne the organiser this time.   Then the next day -Sunday 31st March is Mother's Day.  Mothering Sunday to our Church of course and St Margaret's remind us that they are putting on a special short Service to give thanks for Mothers.  10.30 am with popular hymns and thanksgiving.   Coffee and cake at 11 am and posies of flowers to give to your or someone else's mother.  Lovely gesture- sounds good.
