Horsmonden Social Club reopened its bar to members only on Friday 24 July. Membership card checks are in place on entry alongside collection of member details for NHS Test and Trace.

If you or a member of your household (including your support bubble) feel unwell, you should not visit the Club.

Revised opening hours in place from 24 September 2020

Opening hours are subject to volunteer availability. The bar will be open on Friday 7-9.30pm, Saturday 6-9.30pm and Sunday 12-2pm.

The Club will operate table service only.

From 18 September members will be able to use the snooker table during these times, subject to new restrictions, including members bringing their own cue. Members do not need to book in advance to come to the Club but will be required to check/ sign in (see information on NHS Test and Trace below).

The Committee have carried out an extensive risk assessment to ensure the Club is able to meet current 'COVID-Safe' guidelines. This means the Club will be reopening and restarting activities on a phased basis when restrictions allow. All individual member bookings and private parties continue to be cancelled or postponed. Groups/ organisations wishing you use the Club will need to complete their own COVID-Safe risk assessment, which will be reviewed by the Committee alongside their usual booking request before activities can take place.

When visiting the Club members are asked to follow our COVID-19 secure member guidance This guidance will be updated following increase in government restrictions announced on 22 September 2020.

This includes changes to entry and exit of the Club at busy times, requirements to wear face masks, sanitise hands regularly, including on entry, the introduction of table service, refraining from standing/ sitting at the bar, social distancing requirements and other information to keep you and our volunteers safe.

NHS Test and Trace

On arrival at the Club you will be required to provide your contact details for NHS Test and Trace (from 24 September this may be done via the NHS Test and Trace App – full details and QR code for scanning are displayed throughout the Club). This data will be held securely for 21 days following your visit and in accordance with Department of Health and Social Care Privacy Notice.

Your Club Committee is keeping this guidance under regular review and will update members of changes, including news of other activities restarting here, via the Club noticeboard, newsletter and Facebook page.

Members with concerns of question regarding these changes can contact the Club Secretary (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
